2025 Waiver Wire for Week 13

Welcome to the 2025 Waiver Wire for Week 13!

Happy holidays, everybody! We have finally reached Thanksgiving week, which means that it is time to get real serious about your fantasy team in terms of where you currently are in your league’s standings and ponder what your outlook is over the next couple weeks to cap off the fantasy regular season. It’s go time, because bye weeks across the NFL are starting to come to a close, and everyone’s final rosters are starting to take shape as the year ends and the fantasy playoffs draw near.

As I always say, in the heat of the battle, stay patient, make calculated decisions, and take advantage of the waiver wire while you still can. Speaking of the waiver wire, I am here today to give you SEVERAL options to go out and add, no matter what position you’re in as it relates to the playoffs. Lastly, from me to you: have a wonderful, safe Thanksgiving full of food, football, and family!

Disclaimer: Waiver Wire Rostership Percentages from Sleeper, ESPN, & Yahoo, as well as the Combined Rostership Percentages, will not exceed 50% Also, fantasy point scoring will be represented from a Half-PPR perspective.

Teams on Bye Week: None

Quarterbacks

Kirk Cousins

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (19%), ESPN (3.1%), & Yahoo (4%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 8.7%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

We know at this point in his career, Kirk Cousins can’t move around in the pocket or evade pressure whatsoever, but that’s ok, because he is still a consistent passer when kept clean. Cousins is about to get his stud #1 WR back in Drake London, so if Kirk Cousins can give us two or three passing TDs every single week going forward like he did this past week, you can do a lot worse out there in the streaming QB streets.

Next 3 Opponents: New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

C.J. Stroud

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (36%), ESPN (41.1%), & Yahoo (36%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 37.7%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

With C.J. Stroud likely finally returning from a concussion this week, he becomes arguably the top streaming QB out there right now. Other weapons outside of just Nico Collins, like Dalton Schultz and Jayden Higgins, have started to emerge for this Houston Texans offense, and most importantly, this Houston offensive line has started to play better recently. Pick up C.J. Stroud and see where it goes upon his return.

Next 3 Opponents: Indianapolis Colts, Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals

Running Backs

Devin Neal

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (10%), ESPN (1.8%), & Yahoo (3%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 5%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

At the time of this writing, it is being reported that Alvin Kamara suffered a sprained knee this past week and thankfully avoided anything serious or season-ending. Kamara will miss time, but not too long. Even if it’s only for a few weeks, Devin Neal will be instrumental here and should absolutely be rostered going forward. Neal now becomes the workhorse back in New Orleans, and he is clearly a very smooth pass catcher out of the backfield. He will get a lot of dump-offs from rookie QB Tyler Shough for easy completions.

Next 3 Opponents: Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Carolina Panthers

Chris Rodriguez

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (29%), ESPN (8.8%), & Yahoo (16%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 18%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

If you read my waiver wire article last week, you knew to go out and pick up Chris Rodriguez. But if you didn’t get him yet, that’s ok, because he is probably still out there. After all, he is coming off a bye week and likely slipped through the cracks for a lot of people. Rodriguez is the new lead back in Washington, which already provides lots of value, even if he isn’t the smoothest pass catcher out there.

Next 3 Opponents: Denver Broncos, Minnesota Vikings, New York Giants

Ollie Gordon

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (13%), ESPN (7.3%), & Yahoo (8%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 9.4%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Don’t look now, but the Miami Dolphins’ offense has steadily improved over the last few weeks, to the point where possibly more than just one or two pieces are reliable for fantasy purposes. If De’Von Achane is on the field, Ollie Gordon has virtually no value, unfortunately, although I will say that Gordon has been getting more and more goal-line work in Miami as of late. But if anything were to ever happen to Achane, Gordon would become EXTREMELY valuable as a workhorse on an improved, high-powered offense as of late.

This is the time of year when rostering handcuffs matters a ton, and Ollie Gordon is one of the most valuable handcuffs that you can own right now going forward.

Next 3 Opponents: New Orleans Saints, New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers

Wide Receivers

Luther Burden

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (21%), ESPN (7.5%), & Yahoo (11%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 13.2%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Believe it or not, Caleb Williams is powering MULTIPLE weapons to fantasy success this season. Rome Odunze is having the breakout season we all wanted; Colston Loveland has been very consistent as of late; DJ Moore is getting back into the mix all of a sudden; and now Luther Burden is even starting to come along a bit as well. This is a very high-powered offense in Chicago, and everybody is getting involved here.

Yes, Luther Burden is clearly the WR3 in Chicago right now. Still, suppose anything were to ever happen to either Odunze or Moore. In that case, you have yourself a lottery ticket turned fantasy GOLD in Luther Burden that could potentially be a league winner down the stretch if everything hits and goes right.

Next 3 Opponents: Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Cleveland Browns

Greg Dortch

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (19%), ESPN (6.1%), & Yahoo (9%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 11.4%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

If Marvin Harrison Jr. continues to miss time due to the appendicitis he’s currently dealing with, Greg Dortch needs to be added and rostered immediately. Jacoby Brissett has been passing the ball a TON over the last few weeks, which has led to him supporting MULTIPLE fantasy viable options in this Cardinals offense. Although it might be a short window, Greg Dortch should be looked at as a good, stable flex option going forward until Marvin Harrison Jr. comes back to the lineup.

Next 3 Opponents: Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Los Angeles Rams, Houston Texans

Chimere Dike

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (23%), ESPN (11.9%), & Yahoo (14%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 16.3%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Cam Ward has steadily improved his play over the last few weeks, which obviously helps his weapons from a fantasy perspective; however, many weapons are left in Tennessee. Calvin Ridley is out for the season, and Elic Ayomanor has a hamstring injury that will knock him out for at least the next couple of weeks, most likely, leaving Chig Okonkwo and Chimere Dike as the only legit pass catchers for Cam Ward and this offense going forward. I’ll admit it, last week I thought that Okonkwo was the guy to own here, but clearly I was dead wrong.

Dike is a MUST-OWN player going forward, just because of the sheer volume he will see weekly. Chimere Dike gets a lot of very favorable usage for fantasy managers, as he can lineup literally all over the field. He can line up out wide, in the slot, and even receive screens for easy button throws from Cam Ward from time to time as well. He can do it all.

Next 3 Opponents: Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers

John Metchie

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (8%), ESPN (0.5%), & Yahoo (1%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 3.2%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Somebody has to catch the ball in New York with Garrett Wilson now on IR, and both AD Mitchell and John Metchie are getting a high amount of snaps at the WR position for the Jets. The difference between the two, though, is that John Metchie is actually capitalizing and producing on his opportunities, unlike AD Mitchell. If Metchie continues to be Tyrod Taylor’s #1 preferred option in the passing game as he has been over the last couple of weeks, there is great value to be had there, even if it is on a slow and underwhelming offense overall.

Next 3 Opponents: Atlanta Falcons, Miami Dolphins, Jacksonville Jaguars

Tight Ends

Brenton Strange

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (23%), ESPN (10.9%), & Yahoo (13%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 15.6%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Liam Coen is getting EVERYBODY involved in Jacksonville right now. Jakobi Meyers and Parker Washington have both contributed in a big way each of the last few weeks, and now Brenton Strange is getting in on the party as well after returning from his IR stint this past week. Strange pretty much never comes off the field for the Jaguars at the TE position, which makes him a great streaming option at the TE position for fantasy managers going forward.

Next 3 Opponents: Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, New York Jets

Theo Johnson

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (44%), ESPN (55%), & Yahoo (59%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 52.7%

Statistics of The Week:

Advanced Statistics

Waiver Wire Analysis:

No matter if it has been Russell Wilson, Jaxson Dart, or Jameis Winston at QB, Theo Johnson has produced pretty much all season for the New York Giants. With no Malik Nabers, this is a very condensed target tree in New York. It’s Wan’Dale Robinson, and it’s Theo Johnson. Nobody else matters. If it’s Jameis Winston at QB again for the Giants this week, that’s fine, because that means even more downfield usage and opportunity for Theo Johnson.

Next 3 Opponents: New England Patriots, BYE, Washington Commanders

D/ST

Atlanta Falcons

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (46%), ESPN (36.4%), & Yahoo (49%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 43.8%

Waiver Wire Analysis:

The Atlanta Falcons’ season as a whole might be starting to get off the rails a bit, but the one bright spot is that they boast one of the NFL’s best defenses at the moment, specifically in the passing defense category. The unit is going up against arguably the NFL’s worst offense this upcoming week in the New York Jets, who have pretty much no reliable, proven weapons to speak of now that Garrett Wilson is on IR and are led by an old, washed-up QB in Tyrod Taylor. The Falcons’ defense should be able to dominate this matchup and force multiple turnovers on this abysmal Jets offense on the day.

Next 3 Opponents: New York Jets, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Los Angeles Chargers

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (16%), ESPN (29.3%), & Yahoo (38%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 27.8%

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Jesse Minter is one of the very best defensive coordinators in the entire NFL. He will 100% be a prime head coaching candidate for multiple teams across the league this offseason, so you know that he will have his team ready to go this upcoming week against a Raiders team that just fired their offensive coordinator in Chip Kelly, and a unit that is pretty talent-deficient on offense as a whole.

Next 3 Opponents: Las Vegas Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Kansas City Chiefs
