2025 Waiver Wire for Week 15 | FANTASY IN FRAMES

Welcome to the 2025 Waiver Wire for Week 15!

Welcome to the first round of the 2025 fantasy playoffs, folks! Before we dive into today’s discussion, I want to take the time to give you all out there a big shoutout. Whether you are in the playoffs right now or enjoy consuming/reading my content, I sincerely appreciate every one of you. My goal is to deliver you all to fantasy football championships, and you coming back to this article weekly means so much to me. So, thank you for that. Seriously.

Now, let’s get to the goods, shall we? I’ll admit, the options on the waiver wire are starting to get slimmer and slimmer as the playoffs begin and the year comes to a close, but there are still some gems that you must add if you want to take it all. Let’s do this.

Quarterbacks

Shedeur Sanders

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (18%), ESPN (7.3%), & Yahoo (8%):

Statistics of The Week:

  • 55 percent completions, 364 paYDS, three paTDS. one INT, 29 ruYDS, one ruTD, 34.5 fpts

  • 9.5% Deep Throw Rate in week 14 (16th amongst QBs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

I’m not going to sit here and tell you that the Cleveland Browns have found their franchise QB all of a sudden, but I’ll admit it, Shedeur Sanders is playing a lot better than I thought he would down the stretch this season. If the Browns keep up this high amount of passing volume every week going forward, Sanders becomes a sure-fire streaming QB, especially since injuries at the QB position are starting to pile up across the league now, unfortunately.

Next 3 Opponents: Chicago Bears, Buffalo Bills, Pittsburgh Steelers

J.J. McCarthy

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (22%), ESPN (28%), & Yahoo (30%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 26.7%

Statistics of The Week:

  • 70 percent completions, 163 paYDS, three TDs, 20.4 fpts

Advanced Statistics

  • 81.8% Adjusted Completion Rate in week 14 (8th amongst QBs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

J.J. McCarthy has been so frustrating for fantasy managers this season because he has been hot and cold when healthy. But it comes down to this: he struggles in negative matchups, and impresses in positive matchup/against bad defenses. It’s that simple. Luckily, McCarthy’s rest of the season schedule is pretty good/favorable, so he should be fine, if you ask me at least.

Next 3 Opponents: Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants, Detroit Lions

Running Backs

Blake Corum

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (49%), ESPN (22.2%), & Yahoo (33%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 34.8%

Statistics of The Week:

  • 12 ATT, 128 ruYDS, two TDs, 1 tgt/1 rec, 3 recYDS, 25.6 fpts

Advanced Statistics

  • 25% Explosive Run Rate in week 14 (4th amongst RBs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

This has become a split backfield in Los Angeles. It’s that simple. Kyren Williams and Blake Corum both got virtually the same number of carries this past week, meaning that they both got a lot of work and work in tandem very well. But honestly, that being said, Corum has looked like the more explosive back between the two over the last couple of weeks, and all the deeper metrics support that. Not only would Blake Corum become an INSTANT bellcow league winner if anything were to ever happen to Kyren Williams down the stretch here, but he clearly has LEGIT standalone value now in this backfield going forward.

Next 3 Opponents: Detroit Lions, Seattle Seahawks, Atlanta Falcons

Wide Receivers

Ryan Flournoy

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (2%), ESPN (0.4%), & Yahoo (1%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 1.1%

Statistics of The Week:

  • 13 tgts/9 recs, 115 recYDS, one TD, 22.0 fpts

Advanced Statistics

  • 27.7% target share in week 14 (13th amongst WRs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

This Ryan Flournoy add is 100% contingent on CeeDee Lamb’s health for this week. If Lamb plays this week and is perfectly fine, forget it. Flournoy isn’t worth a roster spot in the least. BUT if Lamb remains in the concussion protocol and is out this week, Flournoy is definitely worth a pickup here. Ryan Flournoy has completely stiff-armed the other supporting WRs in Dallas, as Jalen Tolbert was just a healthy scratch this past week, and KaVontae Turpin barely saw the field at all.

So there is no worry in the least of Flournoy losing snaps and playing time to either of those two at all. Even if it is just for one week only, Ryan Flournoy is a worthwhile investment, just because the Cowboys are such an explosive, high-volume passing attack to begin with.

Next 3 Opponents: Minnesota Vikings, Los Angeles Chargers, Washington Commanders

Luther Burden

  • 6 tgts/4 recs, 67 recYDS, 9.0 fpts

Advanced Statistics

  • 2.68 YPRR in week 14 (19th amongst WRs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Over the last few weeks up to this point, Luther Burden has been steadily showing us flashes of what he can be in this Bears offense, and now, it looks like he’s finally ready to take off and become a big part of this offense going forward. It came out over the weekend that Rome Odunze is dealing with a stress fracture in his foot currently, so he’s likely out this week for Chicago, and he might miss more time than just that. Additionally, DJ Moore has been a complete no-show for the most part over the last few weeks, while Burden has seized the opportunity and run with it, quite literally.

For all intents and purposes, Luther Burden is operating as the #1 option in this Chicago passing game right now. You need to add him NOW before he REALLY takes off in this Chicago offense down the stretch here.

Next 3 Opponents: Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers

Devaughn Vele

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 23.8%

  • 5 tgts/3 recs, 40 recYDS, 5.5 fpts

  • 25% target share in week 14 (20th amongst WRs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

I mentioned Devaughn Vele in this article last week, and I’m mentioning him again this week because he deserves it. This is a very consolidated target tree in New Orleans. It’s Chrs Olave, and it’s Devaughn Vele (and Juwan Jonson sometimes too I guess). If the Saints keep up this high level of passing volume, as they have been, Vele will absolutely be relevant going forward.

Next 3 Opponents: Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, Tennessee Titans

Tight Ends

Mason Taylor

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (20%), ESPN (12.2%), & Yahoo (24%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 18.7%

Statistics of The Week:

  • 8 tgts/5 recs, 51 recYDS, 7.6 fpts

Advanced Statistics

  • 23.5% target share in week 14 (4th amongst TEs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

The Jets may be a slow and ugly offense overall, but I still like what I’m seeing from these young, developing pass catchers in New York over the last few weeks. John Metchie, AD Mitchell, and Mason Taylor are all contributing here right now. For Taylor specifically in this case, though, I really like his outlook going forward, because he gets a lot of quick, easy outlet passes/dumpoffs, no matter who is in there at QB.

Next 3 Opponents: Jacksonville Jaguars, New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots

Isaiah Likely

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (13%), ESPN (8.1%), & Yahoo (6%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 9%

Statistics of The Week:

  • 6 tgts/4 recs, 25 recYDS, one TD, 10.5 fpts

Advanced Statistics

  • 68.4% slot rate in week 14 (6th amongst TEs)

Waiver Wire Analysis:

Lamar is struggling mightily right now for the Ravens. He’s clearly not right, health or otherwise. But even through all of that, we know that Lamar still loves his TEs, and it seems that Isaiah Likely is starting to overtake Mark Andrews as the main guy at the position in Baltimore. Plus, Likely can lineup literally anywhere on the field as an actual chess piece, so that he can get a lot of targets in various different ways in this Baltimore offense.

Next 3 Opponents: Cincinnati Bengals, New England Patriots, Green Bay Packers

D/ST

San Francisco 49ers

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 26.6%

Waiver Wire Analysis:

I know that the Titans just came off of a very impressive offensive performance against the Browns, but that just seems likie a huge outlier to me. I highly doubt that it will ever happen again this season. Robert Saleh is a great defensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers, so he should be able to heat up Cam Ward and that poor Titans offensive line pretty easily this week if you ask me.

Next 3 Opponents: Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bears

Jacksonville Jaguars

Percent Rostered on Sleeper (42%), ESPN (41.2%), & Yahoo (36%):

Combined Consensus Rostership Percentage: 39.7%

Waiver Wire Analysis:

The Jets’ offense is a complete mess. It’s that simple. Every single defense that plays them every week is an absolute autostart. The Jaguars, however, have a very good defense in their own right, regardless of how good this matchup vs. the Jets is this week.

Next 3 Opponents: New York Jets, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts
