Rashid Shaheed re-signs with the Seattle Seahawks: 2026 Fantasy Football Impact | FANTASY IN FRAMES

Welcome to our continued coverage of NFL Free Agency transactions, as Rashid Shaheed re-signs with the Seattle Seahawks. Read along as I give you my breakdown of its 2026 Fantasy Football Impact!

After acquiring the player at the NFL trade deadline last season, the Seattle Seahawks have decided to re-sign speedster Rashid Shaheed to a three-year, $51 million contract. I get people’s concerns that Shaheed has never been a high-volume player in his career, but with a full offseason in Seattle, we could be in store for big contributions from a fantasy perspective for this player in 2026.

I have always been a MASSIVE fan of Rashid Shaheed personally and have always been in love with his skillset and what he brings to the table for an offense, so I may come off as being a bit biased here, but I feel that Shaheed is in for a career year in 2026 with the Seattle Seahawks. Sure, Shaheed only saw 89 targets with the Saints and Seahawks in 2025, but he ranked 12th in Average Separation Score amongst WRs that ran at least 400 routes last season (Fantasy Points Data Suite). The up-and-coming receiver also carried an explosive aDOT of 11.4. He is a big play waiting to happen.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is obviously as elite as they come, but outside of him, what pass catchers does Seattle really have going forward? Cooper Kupp could be cut due to age and decline in play, and promising Day 3 rookie Tory Horton missed most of the season with injury. AJ Barner had a solid season, but there is little upside there going forward. Strictly a floor play. Shaheed is the Seahawks’ unquestioned #2 option in the passing game going forward, for right now at least.

If you like to shoot for upside rather than floor late in drafts, which you should, scoop up Rashid Shaheed. He is the DEFINITION of upside.

That’s it for our fantasy football coverage during NFL Free Agency as Rashid Shaheed re-signs with the Seattle Seahawks, and the 2026 Fantasy Football Impact!
